Yash Chopra, speaking about Dhoom 3 says, "It's a great pleasure to have Aamir working with YRF once again. It's even more special that he will be doing Dhoom 3. I am terribly excited with what an actor like Aamir will bring to the Dhoom franchise with his unique star power and level of performance. Adi and Victor have worked over a year to bring out, what I can now confidently say, is possibly one of the best scripts coming out of YRF and I am sure that with Aamir and Adi together, they will both create magic to give our audience one of the most exciting films they have ever seen."
It is said that Aamir will have a different, stylised look in the film and Aamir along with Aditya Chopra has already started working on that look.
Victor Acharya, who has written Dhoom and Dhoom 2 and who had earlier directed Tashan, will be directing the film.
Dhoom 3 will be Aamir's second film with Yashraj films. He had earlier acted in Kunal Kohli directed Fanaa, which was produced under the YRF banner

Produced by Aditya Chopra, DHOOM:3 will be written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, popularly known as Victor, who has written DHOOM 1 & 2. Victor has also written and directed Tashan. Both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release.
