Salman Khan's Ready has done net collections of approximately Rs 13-13.15cr at the box office on its opening day across India. However the movie has failed to break the opening day collections of Dabangg, which did a net of Rs 14.5 cr on Friday. Dabangg's opening weekend net collections have been the highest so far amongst Hindi films. But ready manage to fetch second spot for biggest Friday collection. The collections are huge considering it’s a non holiday release; in fact it established the record number for a non festival holiday release.
Here are the top five grosser: Dabangg 14.5 cr, Ready 13-13.15 cr, 3 Idiots 13 cr, Tees Maar Khan 12.75 cr, Raajneeti 10.5 cr & Kites 10.5 cr
The movie also did very good business in the overseas collecting around 4cr+ in the 1st Friday from center likes USA, UK, UAE, Australia etc.
Saturday morning show not stated with full swing but picked up in the later shows and expected to full house in the evening and night shows. Another 13cr + has been expected by the traders. Its now remains to be seen how much the movie will able to collect over the weekend.
