Singham starts with a bang at boxoffice. The day one occupancy level all over India is Around 60-65% . The movie is doing excellent business at single screens. In Rajastan center like Jodhpur(Satyam) resister 100% opening , In Kanpur center like Gurdev, In Saurashtra center like Junagarh(Suraj),Bhavnagar, Rajkot(Girnar), Morbi (Chitrakoot), all resisted 100% collection in Day one. Overall the collection from Single screens is around 80-85 % occupancy level. In the other side multiplexes are little low, registered 40-50% occupancy level all over India. In Mumbai it was around 50-55% but the collection are low in Delhi circuit which is little bit concern considering it as mass belt circuit. Also due the agreement problem between distributors and exhibitors, the prints arrived late for the first show and the show timing got affected. Nevertheless, the film will surely pick up Saturday and Sunday as Well. The Film has got very good review from Critics and the WOM is quite positive. This will surely increase people’s interest and will trend well for 3 weeks since no biggies ahead until August 12.
Looking at the trend the, first day collection will be around 9.0 - 9.5cr nett approximately considering the movie has released around 1500 theaters all over India.
