Ajay Devgan is really having a dream run in the Boxoffice and Madhur Bhandarkar is enjoying the some commercial success. Dil toh baccha Hai Ji has managed to collect a decent opening at the boxoffice, the movie was able to collect approximately 15cr in its 1st weekends. The breakdowns: Friday: 3.75cr, Saturday: 4.9cr and Sunday: 6.2cr. The collections are called to be decent because the movie was released with a large no of prints around 1400. So if we calculate the audience occupancy level, it will come around 30-35%.This movie has been getting an average critic reviews and mixed audience reaction. DTBHJ has been made with a controlled budget around 28cr (budget 22cr+ Prints& publicity 8cr). It has already recovered 16cr from satellite rights; 2cr from music rights & theatrical rights has been sold for 13cr. With all prospects DTBHJ is gearing up to join the successful league of Hit-January. January 2011 has been a dream month for bollywood, DTBHJ is sure to join the like of NOKJ, YPD & DG, all of them have been successful in the Boxoffice.
