'Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap' will resurrect the legendary Amitabh Bachchan's 'Angry old man avatar'.
In the movie, Amitabh Bachchan reprises the famous "Vijay" that he has played in popular films like "Deewar", "Agneepath" and "Zanjeer". He essays the role of a retired Hitman settled in Paris who comes back to India to do "one last job". During the course he comes face to face with his past and that gets him to change his motive for the 'hit'.
The film is being presented by Viacom18 and AB Corp's 'Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap'. Written and Directed by Puri Jagannadh, 'Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap', the film stars Hema Malini, Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj.
Boxoffice perditions
The industry buzz is average but it has certainly able to create a strong buzz in the masses. Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap' will open lower than Delhi Belly in the weekends but there is every chances that on the weekdays it would come on it's own if we go by the initial reviews. The budget of the movie around 16cr(including p&p) and it is already a profitable venture for the producer after adding income from all Non-theatrical rights.
It will acquire much wider screen space in the single screen. We expect the first day to be around 3.2-3.6cr taking 550-650 print release & weekend will be around 17 cr.
