Delhi Belly Boxoffice Weekend Updates
Delhi Belly has found its audience in youth and college goers and has does well at metro multiplexes in its first weekend. The film has fetched around Rs 26.15 cr . The collections at single screens and Hindi versions are not very encouraging. In Mysore & Rajasthan Delhi Belly had an outstanding business, occupancy level was around 90% over the weekends. The movie is released around 1200 screen all over India. The film budget is around 31cr (24cr production cost & 7 cr print/publicity cost ) .

Saturday: 8.25 cr
Sunday: 10.75 cr.

Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap has fared poorly with opening weekend collections being very low considering the hype and star power. The first weekend stands at Rs 7.32 cr nett.
The movie has released around 1000screen all over India. The movie budget is 20cr (Budget = 10.5 cr , VIACOM Acquisition/nominal producer fees = 4 cr, Prints & Publicity = 6 cr). The Producer has fetched a healthy amount of 13-14 cr from non-theatrical business and film need another 15cr from theatrical business to recover its cost.

Delhi Belly has emerged a hit film with rock solid collections of 4.75 crore nett approx on Monday.
ReplyDeleteIt has seen a just a 20-25% drop from Friday and all major circuits are super strong while the smaller circuits are rock steady but on lower side. Delhi/UP collected 1.05 crore nett on Monday while Friday was 1.27 crore nett.
Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap had low collections on Monday of around 90 lakhs. The collections were steady but too low and the film will wrap its first week around the 9.25-9.50 crore nett mark.
