Murder 2 had a huge weekend, collecting around 22cr nett in its first weekend.
This is a humungous nos considering the budget of the movie. The budget of the movie is around 13 cr (8cr production cost + 5 cr P&Pcost) and movie is almost touching its Breakeven point in its 1st weekend itself. The approximate Distributor Share will be 12-13cr because it is not a multiplex based release ( domination of Delhi Belly), so major collection are from single screens. The movie has released around 1000 theaters all over India.
Now coming to the verdict of the movie, it is a solid hit already and looking at the trend it will do business at least 42-43cr in its life time. Now the economy is very simple, the movie will be a superhit in theatrical business only (may be Blockbuster if it will touch 50cr) and will be a Blockbuster taking its non-theatrical & overseas business.
The weekend breakdowns were 7.10 crore nett on Friday, 6.38 crore nett on Saturday and 8.48 crore nett on Sunday.

Chillar Party All India Weekend Collections
The movie has ultra-low budget which is around 2-3cr (including all cost) approx. Due to inconsistencies and a lack of wide release and heavy competition from Murder 2, the movie has able to collect 3.15 in its first weekend. It is considered to be avg numbers as it is tax free in some state in India, so it will surely recover its cost very easily. The movie carries very good report, so it will show a steady trend in the weekdays but in the lower side.
