The movie has grossed around 4.75-5 cr nett on day one which is not considered to be a good start as this is a big bugget and big star cast movie. But the movie faced some real protects and got banned in the territories like UP, Some part of Punjab and Andhar which result in loss around 1cr ( 75 lakhs in UP, 25 lakhs in Punjab and 15 lakhs in Nizam), other wise the movie should have crossed 6 cr mark.
Aarakshan fared best in Delhi and Rajasthan and CI but the film will not do well unless the ban is lifted quickly and picks up strongly over the weekend but reports do not indicating a big jump in collections on Saturday and Sunday But again collection will be better then 1st day.
