Mere Brother Ki Dulhan First Weekend Collection : 26 cr nett
Mere
Brother Ki Dulhan has had a good first weekend of 25.50 crore nett as per early
estimates. The film has scored well at multiplexes so circuits like Mumbai,
Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Mysore have very good business. Business at single
screens is average. The best business business has come in the Delhi/NCR area
which Delhi/UP likely to come in around the 6 crore nett mark and East Punjab
around 2.75 crore nett.
Mere
Brother Ki Dulhan had big competition from blockbuster Bodyguard which kept the
best single screens in week two and that makes the initial business of Mere
Brother Ki Dulhan look even more impressive
The
film is a success and Monday will determine how far it can go, a steady Monday
and it can close the week at around 40 crore nett.
Next
week will see the release of Mausam which has a similar target audience so
collections are likely to be hit hard in week two.
