REVIEW OF BAND BAAJA BAARAAT

Wow what a Baaraath!!!!  I enjoyed thoroughly with band Baaja.  This is for all buddies who still things what exactly happened in a marriage.  Jokes a part I never had a great expectation from this movie  but this movie makes me happy in a big time. A crisped story line, good performances and situational music fulfill my Investments.
  Banner: Yash Raj Films
  Producer: Aditya Chopra
  Director: Maneesh Sharma
  Story: Maneesh Sharma
  Screenplay: Habib Faisal
  Dialogues: Habib Faisal
  Cinematography: Aseem Mishra
  Editor: Namrata Rao
  Choreography: Vaibhavi Merchant
Music Director: Salim Merchant, Sulaiman Merchant

STORY LINE:-
This movie’s story based on Delhi and its ostentatious weddings. The movie captures every minute detail of Delhi’s by lanes, thereby making it come alive on the silver screen. Shruthi played by Anushka Sharma is a determined goal with goals set in life reaches her final year of college.Bittoo played by Ranveer Singh on the other hand is a easy going guy with no pre-defined goals in life. He takes life as it comes and he is also a final year college student of Delhi University. Bittoo like playing pranks and enjoys life with buddies barely scraping through his exams.

These two different personalities happens to meet in life, or as you would call it, fate which brings them together. They start a business as partners "Wedding Planning Ka bijness" and the rules they set are "Jisse Vyappar Karo, Usse Kabhi Na Pyaar Karo" (Don`t mix business with pleasure".Together their friendship and business takes lots of twists and turns and ups and downs and they soon try to discover each other and realize in the course of their journey of lavish Delhi Weddings that 'Unke Khu Ke Rules Ki Bajeji Band!

DIRECTOR’S CUT:-

Debutant director Maneesh Sharma, who has also written the story takes us out of the artificial studio setting and into the by lines of the city. He made this movie alive on the silver screen. Previously he showed his talent as assistant to movie likeFANAA, AAJA NACHLE and RAB NE BANA DI JOD .

Another Highlight of the movie its Screenplay , Assem Mishra make you feel as if you have entered the lanes of Delhi. who is also the director of DO DOONI CHAAR.

PERFORMANCES:

I was totally surprise by newcomer Ranveer Singh. He may not be dashing in looks but he sheds all inhibitions and gives a full-throttle performance as a carefree guy in his debut film. Anushka Sharma is polishing her acting skills with every outing.

Both Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh don the skin of their characters to perfection. Their hard-work is evident in dancing and dialogue-delivery .It’s like they are playing themselves in the film. Whether it is Shruti’s local west Delhi touch or Bittu’s typical Saharanpuri accent and style, at no point does the viewer feel any effort or acting.
MUSIC:-
Music by Salim-Suleiman catches the spirit of Indian (Punjabi) weddings. The foot-tapping number Aivayin Aivayin is the anthem of 'Band Baaja Baarat' and rightly serves the purpose. Tarkeebein is another impressive number. However, the energetic Dum Dum takes a toll on the viewers who are waiting for the drama to conclude.
IN SHORT:-
Band Baaja Baaraat is the same old story, It has the typical Yash Raj colour and flavor to it. But the movie’s biggest strength is its ability to embrace the local flavor and transcend to a very classy one with absolute seamlessness.
The first half moves is the strong point of the movie. It moves at a fast pace and I enjoyed the world of Bittoo and Shruti. Though all love stories boil down to the lead couple parting ways and uniting again, BBB moves ahead with a tinge of drama, naach-gaana and loads of abuses the lead pair share
On the negative side, the second half seems far more stretched and slow-paced with songs thrown in and viewers given a crash course in wedding planning. but manages to keep us entertained
VERDICTS:-
BBB  is a refreshing film very different from the usual romantic comedy movies we're so used to. I will surely recommend this movie to all. Specially those who believe in love . Well I will warn young entrepreneur   not to inspire by the procedure taken to do the business (short cut).  It is a worthy watch movie. It will surely improved in the box office collection. Due to the manageable budget of 15 cr , this will be surely a profitable venture for producer.
