Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has good first day numbers thanks to business at multiplexes. Early estimates from some circuits are as follows.
West Bengal - 25 lakhs
CI - 22 lakhs
Rajasthan - 37 lakhs
Nizam - 33 lakhs
The circuit estimates above suggest a possible 7.5 crore nett plus first day for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows Part 2 may come in around 4.50 crore nett.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has a 975 screen release on 875 theatres and Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has 800 screens on 600 theatres. The Harry Potter screen to cinema ratio is higher as many multiplexes have English and other languages version running and also 2D and 3D versions which means it has 3 or even 4 screens at some multiplexes.
